Waiga United will host Asante Kotoko at the Bolga Park in the second round of the MTN FA Cup following a Disciplinary Committee decision.

The third-tier side protested against Tamale Liberty, who won the preliminary round fixture 2-0 for fielding two unqualified players - Sanie Sanjoe Mutala and Iddrisu Amin.

By the decision, Waiga will have the chance of testing the Porcupine Warriors on December 24 for a place in the third round.

The second round matches in the Cup competition will begin on December 21 and end on December 29.

Sixty-four teams made up of Premier, Division One and Two sides are involved in the second round stage of the competition.
