Tema Youth FC has filed a protest against Great Astronomers FC in respect of their MTN FA Cup Round of 64 match which was played at the Cape Coast Stadium.

According to the statement of case, during the match on 18th March, 2015, Great Astronomers failed to produce the licence of player number 16 so his photographs were taken in accordance with Article 16 (3) of the GFA General Regulations.

Tema Youth alleged that Great Astronomers failed to submit the photograph of the player to the GFA Secretariat within the stipulated period because the player had not been properly registered at the time of the match.

This according to Tema Youth has breached Articles 16(3), 15(5a and b), 29(1a) and 34(e) of the FA General Regulations.

They are therefore calling on the Disciplinary Committee to declare Tema Youth as winners of the match.
