Tarkwa United fined GHc500 after five players receive cautions in League match

Tarkwa United FC has been fined an amount of Five Hundred Ghana Cedis (GHc500.00) in respect of their match against Elmina Sharks FC played in Elmina.

The Match Reports indicated that five players of Tarkwa United were cautioned by the referee for various reasons.

The actions or inactions of the players are in clear violation of Article 53 of the Disciplinary Code of the Ghana Football Association.

In accordance with Article 53 of the Disciplinary Code of the Ghana Football Association, Tarkwa United FC is hereby fined an amount of Five Hundred Ghana Cedis (GHc500.00) payable to the GFA within 14 days upon receipt of this letter.

Further take notice that pursuant to Article 15(b) of the GFA Disciplinary Code and Article, 39(8)(b), 39(8)(d) and 39(8)(f) of the General Regulations of the GFA, should Tarkwa United FC fail to pay the fines stated above within the stipulated 14 days upon the receipt of this letter, the club shall forfeit all its subsequent matches by the Division One League Board or the GFA until the fine is fully paid.
