Referee Eku Boateng and assistant referee Kennedy Bentil have both been suspended for six weeks after a study by the Match Review Panel.

Case Liberty v Asante Kotoko - Week 15

After a careful study of the recommendations of the Match Review Panel, the Executive Committee approved of the report on the above match as follows;

(i) Referee Eku Boateng and Assistant Referee Kenedy Bentil are hereby suspended for six weeks each with effect from Week 19 of the Premier League for not paying attention during the match by cautioning a wrong player.

(ii) The yellow card recorded against Liberty Professional FC. player number 44 Ernest Bekoe is hereby cancelled as not been issued. The Premier League Board is hereby requested to rectify the anomaly.

(iii) Player number 34 of Liberty Professionals FC. Ofori Fotsu is to be punished as having received a red card after a second cautionable offence during the match. The Premier League Board is hereby requested to rectify the anomaly and act in accordance with Article 39 (6) (iv) of the GFA Regulations.
