The GFA Executive Committee has approved the Match Review Panel’s recommendation in respect of the GN Bank Division One League match between Young Wise and Okyeman Planners played in Kasoa.

After reviewing a video of the match, the match review committee recommended that Referee Benjamin Aidoo be banned for the rest of the 2016/2017 GN Bank Division One League for;

(a)          Handling a match on a water-logged field with no field markings;

(b)          Denying the away team, Okyeman Planners a penalty kick in the 89th minutes;

(c)           Handling a match within a very poor visibility condition.

The ban takes immediate effect.
