Eight games are on the fixture list for Wednesday in the First Capital Plus Premier League with key contests at both ends of the table.

With 13 games left to end the competition, every single contest can affect the table as the pressure builds.

Hearts of Oak coach Mohammed Polo will expect to see some resilience in his players after seeing rivals, Asante Kotoko open a 10-point lead.

The Phobians, who lie in second place on the log behind their rivals will take to the field in Accra against second from bottom, Ebusua Dwarfs.

Despite being adrift the top by that margin, Polo will be hoping that the pressure of attempting to catch up with Kotoko does not affect his team.

For Dwarfs, it might be an opportunity to turn around their poor form when they arrive at the Accra Stadium.

Reigning champions and current leaders, Kotoko will be hoping to pick all the spoils when they take on Amidaus Professionals at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Heart of Lions will travel to the Golden City Park to meet Berekum Chelsea, a potential title winner at the beginning of the season but now 20 points adrift the top.

Medeama could lose further ground in their hopes of securing a top-four place with their visit to the Gyamfi Park where they face New Edubiase.

In Wa, Wa All Stars will try to make it three wins on the trot when they welcome Aduana Stars, who have slipped into the relegation zone.

At the Essipon Stadium, Hasaacas will host fourth-placed, AshantiGold while Bechem United face Liberty Professionals at the Bechem Park.

Bottom side, Inter Allies will take on King Faisal at the Tema Park to round up a busy midweek of football action.
