Preview: FCP Premier League Match day 11 kicks off

The weekend round of matches in the First Capital Premier League will kick off on Saturday with WAFA SC taking on second placed Aduana Stars at the Sogakope Park on Saturday.

The Match day 11 game will be very important to Aduana as they keep the chase on leaders Ashantigold as they are just three points away from the top.

WAFA on the other hand are poised to improve on their current 7th position on the League log.

League leaders Ashanti Gold will however seek to extend their stay on top of the log when they welcome Hasaacas to the Len Clay Stadium on Sunday.

At the Wa Park, Inter Allies who are fourth on the League table will travel to face mid-table placed Wa Allstars.

Hasaacas who started the season on a strong note will go into the game with the hope of moving from their current 9th position into the top four as they lie just two points behind fourth placed Heart of Lions.

Ahead of their CAF Confederations second leg match against Olympique Ngor in Senegal, Hearts of Oak will host BA United at the Accra Stadium as the two clubs remain in relegation zone.

In Berekum, Chelsea who have suffered points deduction after a Disciplinary Committee decision on their indebtedness to WAFA, will play as hosts to 4th placed Heart of Lions.

However at the Tarkwa T &A Park on Sunday,New Edubiase will travel to face Medeama with the two teams lying 12h and 11th on the League table respectively.

At the Bechem Park, Coach David Duncan will be on the touch line for Asante Kotoko for the first time as they take on Bechem United.

The Porcupine warriors who benefited from the Disciplinary Committee’s decision to deduct points from Berekum Chelsea, are now lying 10th on the League table.

There will be a local derby in Accra as Great Olympics go to the Carl Reindorf Stadium as guests of Liberty Professionals.

Olympics are now 13th on the League table with Liberty also just a point away from the top four.
