Karela United suffered another setback in their bid to revive their Premier League campaign after being held to a frustrating 0-0 draw by Vision FC at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium in Tamale on Friday.

The Pride of the North failed to capitalise on home advantage, extending their winless run and recording their second consecutive league game without scoring. Despite registering 10 attempts, Karela lacked the attacking quality to break down a disciplined Vision FC defence.

The stalemate leaves Karela 13th on the table with 11 points from 10 matches, having recorded three wins, two draws and five defeats. With all three victories coming at home, their inability to turn promising opportunities into goals remains a growing concern.

Vision FC continued their steady away performances, securing another valuable point to make it back-to-back goalless draws following their stalemate against Port City FC. The Tema-based outfit also sit on 11 points after 10 matches, with two wins, five draws and three defeats.

Karela defender Gariba Faisal was named NASCO Man of the Match for his commanding display, helping the hosts secure a clean sheet despite their attacking frustrations.
