The MTN FA Cup Round of 16 Live Draw will be held on Tuesday April 14, 2015 at the Conference room of the GFA Secretariat in Accra at 1100 11:00 am.
Teams including defending Champions Asante Kotoko, record winners, previous Champions Hearts of Oak and Premier leaders Ashantigold are still in the hunt for the 2014/15 title.
The Premier League has eight sides who have reached the last 16 with six Division One clubs ahead of Tuesday’s draw.
A third tier side Afienya City booked their place in the Round of 16 after beating Premiership side Great Olympics in their Round of 32 match which was played in Prampram.
Another third tier side, Great Astronomers could join the Round of 16 if they manage to beat either New Edubiase or Berekum Chelsea in their outstanding Round of 32 match. The outcome of Berekum Chelsea’s appeal will determine which of the two teams will face Great Astonomers.
And that will complete the list of qualified teams for the next round of matches.
