Any hopes of Medeama recording a second win in the Ghana Premier League were dashed on Saturday after drawing goalless with AshantiGold.

The Mauves last weekend won their first game of the season, winning 2-1 away over Liberty Professionals.

But they could not show such form at their favourite grounds, the T&A Park as they shared the spoils with the Miners.

The result was Medeama's fourth draw in the campaign, having already lost one match to Heart of Lions at home.

Medeama have picked just two points at home from a possible 9 points and this represents their worst start since their emergence as a force in the top-flight three seasons ago.
