The Match Review Panel has tasked the Referees Committee to remind it's appointees of the need to comply with the rules and regulations of the game.

According to the Panel, the match officials who handled the week 17 Premier League match between Arsenals and Tema Youth failed to comply with Article 23 (6) of the Regulations.

The article requests for the removal of any extra official on a club's bench. Any offending club pays a fine for breaching the that portion of the regulation.

"The Referees Committee is hereby requested to inform all match officials to ensure the compliance of Article 23 (6) of the Regulations. Failure by the match officials will attract a severe sanction from the Association," an FA statement said.
