Any hopes by Amidaus Professionals landing a top-four place during the Easter weekend of the Glo Premier League suffered a set back on Saturday.

The premiership debutants were beaten 1-0 at the Gyamfi Park by New Edubiase.

A first half goal from penalty converted by striker Stephen Manu separated both sides.

Manu scored from the spot with four minutes to end the first half.

And the win has rather boosted Edubiase's charge for a top-four place after a disappointing spell in their debut continental participation and their exit from the FA Cup competition.
