The unconvincing start of Berekum Chelsea to the season continued in Cape Coast where they suffered a 3-1 loss to Ebusua Dwarfs on Wednesday.

Chelsea, who came close to winning the title last season until the last day have picked four points out of a possible 12 points.

Goals from Richard Gaze and a brace by Francis Atuquaye was enough to give Dwarfs victory as Roger Adongo scored Chelsea's only goal.

Chelsea will need to pick up the pieces before the visit of Aduana Stars on Sunday.

At the Tema Stadium, Amidaus Professionals and Liberty Professionals drew 1-1.

Daniel Awuni put Amidaus in front before Joseph Mensah drew Liberty level.

In Kumasi, King Faisal and AshantiGold played out a goalless draw.
