Liberty Professionals admit to a difficult start after losing three straight games in the Glo Premier League.

For the Dansoman-based side, the start to the 2010/11 league season has exposed many flaws but the club’s technical team is hopeful of turning around the corner beginning this weekend when they play Mighty Jets.

Assistant coach of the club Felix Aboagye says the team, who sit bottom of the table, need to bring on some experienced players as the competition progresses after finishing 12th last season.

“Actually it’s very bad. This is not what we expected when the league was about to start. At the moment we are not finding our rhythm.

“We have a good team but we need to beef up a little bit with some senior players. We are playing our next game with Mighty Jets and we would do our homework so that we will win our next game,” Aboagye said following their defeat to Kessben, their third of the season last Sunday.

Liberty has played a total of 270 minutes without scoring a goal, rather they have conceded seven goals. The statistics paints a rather appalling situation at the club but Aboagye is bidding time to change their fortunes.

“As a coach you have to be prepared for anything that happens. But I believe our management understand the situation and they are going to give us some more time so that we make up.”
