The football hangover after Ghana's thrashing of Egypt 6-1 in a World Cup qualifier is not out of the way just yet as the Premier League continues.

At the Baba Yara Stadium on Thursday, the grounds where the Black Stars blew away Egypt two days ago, the the final match-day-6 fixture of the league will be played.

Leaders Asante Kotoko will host Hasaacas as the competition gathers paces in its early stages.

A whopping 12 points separates both sides as the Sekondi side sit one place above bottom ahead of their meeting with the reigning league champions in Kumasi.

Kotoko, still on a five-game winning spree will be seeking to extend their run as they feel the pressure from rivals, Hearts of Oak, who are level on points in second position.

But the onus lies on Hasaacas to wreck Kotoko's ambition when the two sides meet at 15:00GMT.
