Kessben FC's 100 percent start to the season has been brought to an end as the leaders slumped to an embarrassing 2-1 defeat away to Glo Premier League newcomers Mighty Jets.

The win at the El-Wak Stadium handed the league debutants their first of the season after a rather difficult start.

A brace by Aaron Amoah helped 10-man Jets to victory after Richard Mpong had equalised for Kessben who still maintain their lead at the top via the head-to-head rule despite being level on points with Kotoko and Chelsea.

Kessben's result presented Asante Kotoko with a great opportunity to jump at the summit but the Porcupine Warriors could not capitalize on it as they dropped two valuable points and all they could do was to only draw goalless with Heart of Lions in a late kick off game on Sunday at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Emmanuel Clottey's first half strike ensured that Chelsea move to third on the standings as his goal helped the Bechem side to a 1-0 win over King Faisal.

Hearts of Oak returned to winning ways in Sunyani beating B.A Stars 1-0 courtesy by youngster Uriah Asante after the goalkeeper for B.A. had spilled a free-kick.

Aduana still remain unbeaten after sharing the spoils in the goalless draw fixture at the Gyemfis Park with New Edubiase.

A late equaliser at the Wa Park by Berekum Arsenals denied All Stars all three points with the clash ending 2-2.

Nathaniel Asamoah and Frank Nortey-Sowah handed the Blues a 2-0 lead. However Bernard Ofori pulled one back for Arsenals before Nana Poku drew his side level on the stroke of full-time.

Liberty Professionals were handed a sweet return to their Karl Reindorf grounds, beating AshantiGold 2-0. Goals from Atta Kissi and Bright Lukman lifted Liberty to the 11th position while the Miners dropped to last from bottom.

Real Tamale United's misery following the passing away of their CEO Ibrahim Abdul-Kadri on Saturday was further compounded at the Robert Mensah Stadium where they were beaten 3-0 by home side, Ebusua Dwarfs.

Francis Gyebi started the rout before captain Bismark Asiedu doubled their lead with Mustapha Douglas scoring the third goal.

RTU thus slip to the bottom of the table after five games as they are yet to win a game so far.
