Mighty Jets boosted their survival hopes after beating Asante Kotoko 2-0 on Saturday at the Ohene Djan Stadium.

The win lifts Jets to 12th on the table with the bulk of the match-day-28 games to be played on Sunday but dents Kotoko's ambitions of landing the second position on the the table with two games to go.

A goal in apiece in each half of the exciting game ensured that Jets secured all the spoils.

Jacob Kwao and substitute Abubakar Sidi scored both goals to hand the premiership's new boys a deserving victory.
