Hearts of Oak qualify to MTN FA Cup Round of 16 after beating Bolga Man City

Hearts of Oak are through to the Round of 16 of the MTN FA Cup competition after beating Bolga Man City 3-0 on Wednesday.

The Phobians scored all three goals in the second half of the match which was played at the El Wak Stadium in Accra.

Striker Eric Kumi capitalised on a goal mouth melee to give the the home side their opening goal.

South African defender then added the second goal from a free kick which beat Man City's goalkeeper.

Togolese forward Foovi Agude then converted a spot kick with a just a few minutes to full time.

Hearts of Oak have now joined 13 other clubs who have already booked their place in Round of 16.

Asante Kotoko will host Birim DC United in their Round of 32 match on Thursday at the Baba Yara Stadium to decide who progresses to the next stage of the competition.

Great Astronomers will however know whether they will face New Edubiase or Berekum Chelsea in the Round of 32 after the Appeals Committee decides on Chelsea's appeal.
