Ashtown Ladies took a significant step towards securing promotion to the Malta Guinness Premier League with a resounding 11-0 victory over Wa All Stars Ladies in the ongoing Women's Zonal Championship. The former Premier League side dominated the match, scoring six goals in the first half and five in the second.

Comfort Baah Nuako shone brightly, netting four goals, while Emmanuela Wirenkyi and Blessings Asubia each scored twice. Rose Asumadu, Ella Oheneba Afriyie, and Sherifa Yakubu also contributed to Ashtown's convincing win in the Northern Zone.

In other matches, Perlpia Ladies bounced back from their opening day defeat with a 2-0 win over Bolga Sharp Arrows. Memuna Bugri scored two quick goals in the 5th and 16th minutes, putting her team back on track for promotion.

Meanwhile, Candy Soccer Ladies drew 0-0 with Nasara Ladies in an entertaining match, having previously secured a walkover win in their opening game.
