The Ghana Football Association (GFA) is pleased to announce that an exclusive, high-level FIFA coaching course will take place at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence (GSCE) in Prampram from November 3 to 7, 2025.

The FIFA Elite Youth Coaches Course is designed specifically for coaches currently serving with the Men’s and Women’s National Youth Teams (U15 to U20), as well as those engaged in the GFA Elite Academy Programmes based at Bolgatanga SHS, Prempeh College, and Achimota School.

The course will be delivered by Specialist FIFA Coach Educator Callum Irving, who will be supported by football conditioning expert Tobias Powalla, FIFA High Performance Specialist Cayl Coetsee, and the GFA’s FIFA Talent Coach, Stuart McLaren.

Speaking ahead of the program, McLaren who has been in Ghana for some time now, emphasized the importance of the initiative, saying: “The GFA has been clear in its goal of bringing power to the youth, and successful National Youth Teams are an essential part of that commitment. By bringing together all NYT coaches, plus those working with our Elite Academy Players, we will not only enhance their capacity to improve Ghana’s high-performance environment but also ensure alignment and continuity through the youth pathway.”

The comprehensive five-day course will include both theoretical and practical modules covering the latest tactical trends in world football. It will also explore how Ghana’s youth coaches can better focus their efforts on player development to ensure consistent qualification and strong performances at the FIFA U17 and U20 World Cups.

This initiative forms part of the GFA’s broader commitment to raising coaching standards, developing elite talent, and strengthening the foundation of Ghana’s youth football ecosystem.
