The Ghana Football Association is hopeful its partnership with SuperSport will promote the football and open up more exciting opportunities for Clubs in the country.

The South Africa-based broadcasters last month agreed a three-year deal with the GFA that secured them exclusive rights of the Ghana Premier League and the MTN FA Cup.

Launching the new partnership on Thursday, GFA President Kwesi Nyantakyi said he was enthusiastic about the deal which will improve the football brand of the country.

For SuperSport, they hope to work with all stakeholders and package the game which will bring enormous benefits to all.

“Our relationship with the GFA is more of a partnership and not sponsorship,” General Manager of Multichoice Cecil Sunkwa Mills said at the launch.

“We look to also play our part in developing the domestic game hence our decision to partner with the GFA.”
