FIFA President says it is looking carefully at the decision to allow Egypt to play their World Cup tie against Ghana in Cairo.

The Ghana Football Association had asked FIFA to move the game from Egypt to a neutral venue on security grounds was turned down as Cairo was given the green light to host the game on November 19.

On Wednesday, Sepp Blatter said the world sport body is monitoring the security situation in the North African country.

"We should be very careful because they (Ghana) fear something should (might) happen," Blatter was quoted as saying by BBC Sport.

"We are looking at this matter, there have been matches played in Egypt, international club matches, but we must be careful."
