Fresh from his Caf electoral victory earlier in the week, GFA President Kwesi Nyantakyi would fly home to Accra on Saturday afternoon.
Understandably, there is a huge sense of excitement as Nyantakyi's return to the country is been planned with an eventful welcome that it deserves.
FA Vice-President, Fred Pappoe, who has been acting as President would lead a delegation including the Executive Committee of the GFA, the football family and the new Minister for Sports, Clement Kofi Humado to welcome Nyantakyi back home at 12:30pm.
The Ghana Football Association President was elected to represent the Zone West B bloc on the Caf Executive Committee after beating Benin’s Moucharafou Anjorin at the governing body's 33rd General Assembly.
Nyantakyi won by a margin of 34 votes to 19 by Anjorin as 53 delegates went to the polls in Khartoum, Sudan.
