Division One side Unity FC charged with offensive behavior

Unity FC has been charged with offensive behavior in respect of their GN Bank Division One League against Guan United which was played in Goaso on 4th March, 2015.

During the match at the 89th minute, Unity FC threw stones and other missiles onto the field of play which is a breach of Articles 56, 66 (1&3) of the Disciplinary code of the Ghana Football Association.

In a second charge, after the final whistle was blown to end the match, supporters of Unity FC charged on the match officials which compelled them to remain on the field for one and half hours.

This is also deemed to be a breach of Article 56, 66 (1&3) of the Disciplinary code of the GFA.

Unity FC are to submit their written statement of defence to the charge on or before 22nd March, 2015 before or at 5pm at the GFA Secretariat.

If the club fails to submit its statement of defence, the Disciplinary Committee shall proceed to adjudicate the case without it.
