Champions Hasaacas Ladies cruised to a comfortable 2-0 win against Immigration Ladies to maintain their unbeaten start to the season. The Doo Ladies are the only unbeaten side in the Zone after winning four and drawing two in their opening six matches of the season.

After a close contest which saw both sides push for the opener, Comfort Owusu made amends for the Champions in the 77th minute by scoring the opening goal.

The home side who showed desire and character failed to take their chances as they got punished in the 93rd minute through Veronica Appiah. Hasaacas Ladies are on top of the Southern Zone table with 15 points after six matches in the Women’s Premier League.

Another tight contest between Soccer Intellectuals and Berry Ladies ended goalless at the Asasan Park at Ajumako. Intellectuals started in an explosive manner in search of the opener to unsettle the visitors but all attempts made were foiled by the backline of Berry Ladies.

Berry responded swiftly with aggressive play and resorted to long balls. Selina Agbalansa in post for the hosts, who was called to duty in some instances, ensured that no ball enters her net.

The rest of the game became a ding dong battle until the referee ended hostilities. It was the third drawn game for the Ajumako club since the season commenced.
