Twenty players invited as Black Sharks open camp for Beach Soccer AFCON Qualifiers against Nigeria

Twenty players have been invited to report to camp on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, to begin preparations for the Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers for Senegal 2026.

The Black Sharks will pitch camp at Keta in the Volta Region as they prepare for the double-header against rivals Nigeria.

Ghana will face Nigeria in the final round of qualifiers for a place at the Beach Soccer AFCON scheduled for Senegal next year.

The first leg is scheduled for Saturday, October 10, 2026, with kick-off at 15:00 GMT. The venue is likely to be Lagos, Nigeria, with details to be confirmed by the Nigeria Football Federation.

The second leg is confirmed for Sunday, October 18, 2026, at the Emancipation Beach Arena in Keta, Ghana. Kick-off is at 15:00 GMT.

Ghana will be aiming to return to the Beach Soccer AFCON after missing the last edition, with qualification set to be decided over the two legs against Nigeria.
