The Black Maidens of Ghana held an  official training session at the Estadio Charrua , Montevideo on Sunday evening. 

Ghana’s U17 National Team will take on tournament hosts Uruguay in a 2018 FIFA Women’s U17 World Cup Group A match to be played in Montevideo On Tuesday November 13.

All 21 players actively took part in Sunday’s training session with the training session ending without any injury.

Hosts nation Uruguay are expected to officially  train at match venue on Monday November 12 at the Estadio Churrua at 17:30pm.

Coach Evans Adotey’s side who arrived in Uruguay last Thursday  have been training at the Club Rentistas Stadium in Montevideo ahead of the game but got the opportunity to train at the match venue in line with FIFA’s calendar.

The Head coach of the side will attend a Pre match press conference at the Estadio Charrua Monday at 16:00pm together with coaches of Uruguay, New Zealand and Finland, who are all in group A.

The team will however return to training on Monday evening  at the Club Rentistas stadium at 17:00pm - 18:30pm local time. 

Kickoff time for Ghana’s match against is scheduled to kick off at 19:00pm local (22:00GMT) after the match between New Zealand and Finland a5 the same venue. 

Elsewhere, Mexico will play South Africa in a group C opener with  Brazil also taking on Japan all at the Estadio Domingo Burgento Miguel in Maldonado.
