Still the only unbeaten side in the League, the Miners needed a brace from Emmanuel Osei and to hand them a comfortable lead before Francis Atuquaye pulled one back for the visitors.

The Miners scored the third goal from the spot through Joseph Ato Bissah to wrap up victory.

In Tema, Amidaus Professionals defeated Wa All Stars 1-0 to continue with their fine start in their second season in the top-flight.
