Defender Alidu Seidu and winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku trained with the Black Stars for the first time since November last year, following their recovery from long-term injuries.

The duo, who haven't played for Ghana since the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Angola in Luanda, looked sharp in training and are in contention for Wednesday's match against the Central African Republic.

Seidu, who plays for Rennes in Ligue 1, and Issahaku, who plays for Leicester City in the English Championship, joined 18 other players for training at the Mohammed V Sports Complex in Casablanca on Monday, ahead of the World Cup qualifier at Stade D’Honneur de Meknes.

The match will take place at 16:00Hrs GMT on Wednesday, October 8, 2025.
