Young Apostles recorded their third straight win in the Access Bank Division One League after beating Mighty Royals 2-1 on the road. The visitors had to dig deep for the win after conceding in the 26th minute through Bismark Kyeremeh’s solo effort at Adehyeman Park.
Francis Baffoe Addae drew them level in the 31st minute as the first half ended 1-1. Back from recess, Kwesi Henry smashed home from close range inside 63 minutes to give Young Apostles a well-deserved lead having looked the better side after the break. Mighty Royals have lost two consecutive games in the ongoing campaign.
Elsewhere in Berekum – strugglers Arsenal lost 1-0 to Baffuor Soccer Academy- their second home defeat and third consecutive loss in the League. Ebenezer Addae scored the only goal of the match in the 49th minute to give Baffuor Soccer Academy the vital points – their second consecutive win of the season.
Maana FC recorded their second victory in the league against Debibi United. Issahaku Majeed's goal was enough to get them all the three points against a side who were coming into the game with two consecutive victories
