Nii Lokko, an official of Unity FC will appear before the GFA Disciplinary Committee on Friday May 29 after filing a statement of innocence.

After their match against Bofoakwa, while on the way from the Police Station to the Lorry Station to drop the match referees,Nii Lokko was alleged to have demanded an amount of Three Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHc3,000.00) from the four match referees.

He was also alleged to have accused the match referees of failing to help Unity FC to win the match as earlier agreed with the match referees and said he suspects that the away club has given the four match referees more money than his club did and collected the said amount from the match referees, all in violation of the GFA Regulations.

Nii Lokko was therefore charged for a breach of Article 68 of the Disciplinary Code and Articles 35(5), 35(7)(a), 35(7)(d) and 35(14) of the GFA General Regulations in respect of this match.

Match Commissioner for the said match, has also been invited to assist the Disciplinary Committee in its investigations.

On other cases, all clubs and players who requested for personal hearing are to appear at the Friday's hearing.

The Disciplinary Committee will proceed to give its decision if they fail to appear at its sitting.
