Tarkwa United charged on two counts of misconduct

Tarkwa United have been charged on two counts of misconduct in respect of their GN Bank Division One League match against Dunkwa United played at the Tarkwa T&A Park on April 26.

That after the half time of the match, the club replaced the boy boys with supporters of your club without authorization from the match officials resulting in confrontations contrary to the GFA Regulations.

The club has hereby charged for a breach of Article 66 of the Disciplinary Code and Articles 35(1)(a), 35(4) and 35(10) the GFA General Regulations in respect of this match.

Further to that, after the half time of the match, the club failed to control their supporters and interfere with the progress of the match when the supporters who have entered the inner perimeter wrongly as boy boys during the second half refused to leave the inner perimeter resulting in a hold up of play for about thirty (30) minute contrary to the GFA Regulations.

The club has therefore been charged for a breach of Article 66 of the Disciplinary Code and Articles 35(1)(a), 35(4) and 35(10) the GFA General Regulations in respect of this match.

Tarkwa United will therefore have to submit their written Statement of Defence to the charge(s) on or before May 14, 2015 on or before 5pm at the GFA Secretariat or through email address to the Disciplinary Committee [email protected] failing which the Disciplinary Committee shall proceed to adjudicate the case without the Statement of Defence.

Should they choose Defence Options 3 (Personal Hearing) in the Statement of Defence, they will attend the Disciplinary Committee on Friday, May 15, 2015 at 4pm at the GFA Secretariat to answer to the charge(s), failure which the Disciplinary Committee shall proceed to adjudicate the case in their absence.
