Ghana allowed a 22 minute lead to slip as hosts, Bosnia and Herzegovina rallied back to beat the Black Stars 2-1 in a friendly on Wednesday in Sarajevo.

The game, the official last international friendly on the Fifa calender before 2010 World Cup afforded Milovan Rajevac to welcome back some players as the Serbian coach yet again played with a depleted squad due to injuries.

Despite injury situation, the hosts deserved the win with an improved second half display as Ghana struggled to find the final pass.

It was certainly a game of two halves with Ghana enjoying great possession while the Bosnians did same in the second half and justified that with the winner.

After a good display in the opening half, the Black Stars jumped in front when Sulley Muntari captaining the side in the absence of Richard Kingson, angled a shot from outside the box into the far corner beating the Bosnian goalkeeper Kenan Hasagic.

But with five minutes to end the first half, Vedad Ibisevic found the back of the Ghana net from close range to draw his side level before the break.

Miralem Pjanic handed the hosts the winner when he scored in the 65th minute.

The Black Stars tried to draw level with Asamoah Gyan going close on two occasions but Bosnia held on to finish strongly.

Ghana coach, Milovan Rajevac handed Hoffenheim striker, Prince Tagoe, a starting role up front alongside Matthew Amoah.

Other changes to the line up included Ibrahim Ayew getting the nod ahead of Samuel Inkoom at right back with David Addy made his debut start at left back. Young goalkeeper, Daniel Agyei started in post in his first senior cap.

However, Rajevac ringed the changes in the second half as he made six changes with the exception of Richard Kingson not having a run out.

The game against the Bosnians, the first match after the African Nations Cup for Ghana is an opportunity to continue with their build up to the World Cup finals in South Africa later this June.
