Port City FC extended their lead at the top of the Zone Three league table to five points after grinding out a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Golden Kick SC at the Kukurantumi Ohene Park. Ransford Lartey’s stunning first-half strike proved decisive, sealing all three points for the home side. The win keeps Port City FC firmly at the summit with 35 points from 16 matches.

Meanwhile, title hopefuls Semper Fi FC’s poor run of form continued as they failed to secure a league victory for the sixth straight game (D4, L2). Semper FI suffered a narrow 1-0 home defeat to Accra Lions at the McDan Sports Complex in Teshie. Accra Lions captain Lawrence Norkplim struck in the 12th minute to end his side’s seven-game winless streak. Despite their struggles, Semper Fi FC remain second on the table with 30 points.

Former Premier League side Okwawu United recorded back-to-back away victories for the second time this season after defeating newly promoted Great Ambition 2-1 at the Carl Reindorf Park. Gideon Ofori Offei opened the scoring in the 5th minute, before Morgan Abayatey doubled the lead just before halftime. Great Ambition pulled one back through Dennis Appiagyei in the 61st minute, but Okwawu United held on for a vital win.
