A 26-man playing squad assemble in camp to kick start Ghana’s preparations for this year’s Toulon football tournament.

With the end of the premiership season, members of the national Under-20 side on Monday arrive at the national camp in Prampram to commence their build up for the competition to be hosted by France.

The 35th edition of the International Tournament of Toulon kicks off on May 31 and rounds up on June 9.

Black Satellites coach, Sulley Mohammed last week named a 26-man team dominated by players in the premiership with only two from the division one league making the squad.

This year's participation by Ghana in the eight-nation competition will be her second appearance at the tournament.

Ghana and Ivory Coast are the only African nations participating in the eight-nation tournament.

Ghana has been paired in Group B together with Japan, Holland and Portugal for the biggest youth football competition in Europe.

While Ivory Coast joins Germany, China and France in Group A.
