The Black Satellites have moved to the top of group B after defeating Argentina 3-2 in their FIFA U-20 World Cup match played on Tuesday morning in New Zealand.

Ghana took a 1-0 lead at half time courtesy Benjamin Tetteh's 44th minute goal before Clifford Aboagye added the second goal in the 59th minute.

Midfielder Yaw Yeboah then converted from the spot to hand Coach Sellas Tetteh's side a three goal lead in the 69th minute.

But the Argentines responded strongly in the final minutes of the when Giovanni Simeone and Buendia scored in the 80th and 90th minutes respectively.

They were however unable to grab the equalizer they wanted as the Black Satellites put up an impressive performance to defend their lead and earn the three maximum points.

Ghana are now on 4 points, level with Austria who earlier defeated Panama 2-1.

The Black Satellites will now face Panama in their final group match on Friday.
