One Premier League fixture has fallen victim to the adverse weather conditions, with Hearts of Lions' match against Kessben called off.

The match referee was forced to call off the Sunday afternoon Glo Premier League match-day-9 fixture at the Kpando Park after heavy downpour 19 minutes into the start of the game.

Both teams played for a greater part of the game in the driving rain but the waterlogged pitch made play rather difficult as the rains intensified.

The scoreline was goalless as match officials hope to resume the match on Monday at 15:00 GMT [3:00 pm local time].
