The President made a quick dash to the West Asian nation where he visited and interacted with some senior players of the team, who ply their trade with different clubs in Israel.

The Black Queens players including captain Portia Boakye, who plays for Israeli Women's Premier League club, Hapoel Petah Tikva, were astonished by the unplanned visit of the President.

The President held a warm and hearty discussion with the other players plying their professional careers in Israel including deputy captain Janet Egyir, as well as Susan Duah, Doris Boaduwaa, Philomina Abakah and Sherifatu Sumaila.

As the President interacted with the Black Queens players, the atmosphere in the room shifted from astonishment to excitement as he offered words of encouragement and support to the six national team stars.

The players felt honoured and motivated by the President's gesture, with such a visit expected to have a profound impact on the players.

The President's surprise visit was a reminder of how the Ghana Football Association places  premium on the well-being of the nation's footballers across the world. The visit would remain a cherished memory and will fuel their determination to succeed for both club and country.

His presence in Israel and the show of support to the players also reinforced the significance of their mission in Israel and the pride that comes with wearing the national team jersey of Ghana.

The players, who were instrumental in the Black Queens' qualification to the 2025 Africa Women's Cup of Nations to be held in Morocco, are expected to play significant roles in the continental showpiece.
