Eleven Wonders head into Saturday’s Premier League match in bleak form after suffering a narrow 1–0 defeat away to Heart of Lions at the Kpando Stadium.

The result extended their losing streak to a staggering 14 matches, leaving the league returnees firmly anchored at the foot of the table.

With just nine points from 19 matches, Eleven Wonders have endured a torrid campaign, scoring only 14 goals while conceding a league-high 29. Their struggles have been equally evident at home, where they have managed just two wins, one draw, and seven defeats, scoring eight goals and conceding 15.

In contrast, Hearts of Oak make the short journey to the University of Ghana as one of the league’s most consistent sides despite being held to a frustrating goalless draw by an in-form Dreams FC over the weekend. That result denied the Phobians a chance to claim their ninth win of the season, but it did little to dent their impressive recent form.

Mas-Ud Didi Dramani’s side have lost just once in their last six league matches (W3, D2), keeping clean sheets in five of those outings. Hearts currently sit fifth on the league table with 32 points from 19 matches, having scored 12 goals and conceded only seven—the best defensive record in the competition so far.

The Phobians have also been formidable on the road, boasting the second-best away record in the league with four wins, four draws, and just two defeats from ten away fixtures. With defensive solidity as their foundation, Hearts of Oak will be eager to translate that strength into maximum points as they continue their push up the table.
