AshantiGold and Aduana Stars look to recover their best form in this weekend’s Glo Premier League action, while five teams vie for their first victory of the season with two clubs yet to find the back of the net.

The season enters match-day-4 on Sunday as the action is at all the centres nationwide.

AshantiGold and Aduana Stars struggled last weekend with the Miners going down in defeat while the champions could only pick a point in games that failed to impress their fans.

But the Miners, who would be at home to Asante Kotoko at the Len Clay Stadium, will aim to bounce back against a Porcupine Warriors side that has managed two consecutive victories.

Kessben FC appears to be the in-form side of the premiership so far, having maintained a 100 percent start to the season. But they would be tested at the Sekondi Stadium when champions Aduana visits.

Bashir Hayford, coach of Kessben says he wants to maintain the club’s great run as they meet the last season’s champions, Aduana.

“Definitely, I am happy. We are training so that we maintain the performance we have got, train our condition and maintain everything. We hope to continue with the winning spree.”

Second-placed All Stars face a difficult trip to Kpando where they would seek to keep going their good start to the campaign against Heart of Lions.

Impressive debutants, B.A Stars would be away to King Faisal at the Baba Yara Stadium.

While the duel at the top would take much attention, Hearts of Oak who have recorded an average start will be determined to come out of their shells to stop New Edubiase at the Ohene Djan Stadium.

Coach Talat Uzum's job is already under pressure following Real Tamale United’s poor start. RTU, one of the two premiership sides yet to score a goal so far - the other being Liberty - would be expected to finally find the back of the net when they take on Chelsea at the Tamale Stadium.

The clash between Mighty Jets and Liberty Professionals at the El-Wak Stadium represents a good contest for either side to pick all three points.

For the debutants, despite holding onto one point from a possible nine, another bad result would hasten their fans' call for the dismissal of coach E.K Afranie.

But the technical team of Liberty which includes former international player Felix Aboagye is faced with the same dilemma.

Liberty, bottom of the table have played a total of 270 minutes without scoring a goal, rather they have conceded seven goals. Another bad result might certainly push the hands of the board though Felix Aboagye is bidding more time to turn things around.

“We are playing our next game with Mighty Jets and we would do our homework so that we will win our next game.

“As a coach you have to be prepared for anything that happens. But I believe our management understand the situation and they are going to give us some more time so that we make up,” Aboagye said.
