PLB welcomes new Vice Chairman

The Premier League Board (PLB) welcomed its newly named Vice Chairman, George Amoako to his maiden meeting on Monday.

The Executive Committee of the GFA last week confirmed Amoako as vice to Ashford Tettey-Oku, who also succeeded long-time Chairman Welbeck Abra-Appiah.

Amoako, a former Executive Committee member of the GFA is an experienced football administrator who has served different clubs in different capacities.

He was a former head of finance and administration of Asante Kotoko and a former chief executive officer of King Faisal.

Meanwhile the Chairman of the PLB, Ashford Tettey-Oku says the board is looking forward to the commencement of the league this weekend.

The league will formally be launched on Wednesday ahead of the February 20 kick off.
