Nana Kobina Osoh and George Osei Amponsah scored two late goals to give Techiman Eleven Wonders a 3-1 win against Karela United FC. The win is a massive one for Eleven Wonders as they ended their six-game winless run.

Eleven Wonders huffed and puffed in their last two home games, losing 1-0 to WAFA and drawing 1-1 with AshantiGold SC. But Sunday afternoon’s win takes them to 9th place in the League log.

Karela United forward Diawusie Taylor scored his 7th goal of the season in the 72nd minute to cancel an early strike from Tetteh Nortey in the 25th minute.

After conceding the equalizing goal, Wonders fought back gallantly and found the net again courtesy Nana Kobina Osoh inside 79 minutes. George Osei Amponsah put the icing on the cake with the third goal in the 90th minute, his second goal of the season.

The defeat prevents Karela United from going top of the league as they have dropped to third with 14 points, one short of leaders AshantiGold SC.
