Namibians in for Satellites showdown

Ghana's opponents for the first leg African Youth Championship first qualifying round, Namibia have arrived in the country ahead of Sunday's game.

The Namibia Under-20 team touched down in the early hours of Friday and will undergo their first training session in the afternoon at the Accra Technical Training College in Accra.

On Saturday, the away side would train at the match venue, the Ohene Djan Stadium.

Ghana, defending champions hope to get off their defence to a good start this weekend against Namibia in the first round qualifying stage.

The Black Satellites who swept a hat-trick of titles including the continental trophy and became the first African team to lift the world title are confident of reaching the finals of the 2011 Orange Africa Youth Championship to be hosted by Libya.
