Asamoah Gyan might have scored his second goal at the World Cup but is filled with mixed feelings following Ghana’s inability to secure a second straight win in Group D.

The Black Stars rallied back from a goal down to draw 1-1 with 10-man Australia on Saturday at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium, as the group heads into the final day potential knockout matches on Wednesday.

On a day when Ghana had 22 shots to eight, Gyan, who scored the winner against Serbia in a 1-0 victory and converted a 25th-minute penalty equalizer in the draw with Australia believes the Black Stars should have won to make things rather easier.

“We should have won this game,” Gyan said. “Once Australia were down a man we should have scored.

“We are looking forward to the last game with Germany and we are hoping Ghana qualify.”

The draw saw the Black Stars go on four points ahead of Germany and Serbia, who both share three points, with the Socceroos on a point.

A final group clash against Germany would prove crucial with everything to play for in the group as all four sides battle for a place in the second round.
