Maxwell Caesar Kemeh acting Director of Competitions

Maxwell Caesar Kemeh has been appointed as Acting Director of Competitions following the resignation of Ben Julius Emunah. Maxwell Kemeh, a doyen in football administration, has served in different capacities in the football ecosystem and has garnered the necessary experience to excel in his new role. He once worked at the Technical Centre, Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence, as a senior administrator before moving to the Technical Directorate as an Administrator in charge of all capacity-building programmes of the Association, including coaching courses and other training programmes.

He is expected to bring his experience to bear in the new role to make domestic competitions richer and more credible. Before his latest appointment, he worked as Competitions Manager for the MTN FA Cup and the Access Bank Division One League, where he took full charge of the two competitions for two seasons.

Maxwell Kemeh will now take full control of all competitions, such as the Ghana Premier League, the Malta Guinness Women's Premier League, the Access Bank Division One League, the Women's FA Cup, the Futsal Premier League, Beach Soccer and other off-season championships.

The Competitions Director role requires a blend of strategic planning, operational management, and leadership skills. These include Event Planning and Coordination, Rule Development and Compliance, Team Management, Promotion and Marketing, Budgeting and Financial Management, as well as Participant and Stakeholder Communication.
