Claude Le Roy is looking to end his Ghana career with victory over Togo today in the African Nations Championships qualifiers.

The Frenchman would direct his final game this afternoon when Ghana plays Togo.

Ghana can take a step closer to qualification for the first ever African Nations Championships with a win over Togo in the return leg of the Zone B qualifier.

The Black Stars would be seeking to complete a double over their opponents at the Ohene Djan Stadium in Accra, Togo’s adopted home grounds for this game as they serve the first of a three-match ban imposed on them last year, by the Confederation of African Football.

Ghana beat the Togolese 2-0 in the first leg are hopeful of doing same at a familiar ground, the Ohene Djan Stadium.

With the lead from the first leg, Claude Le Roy would be hopeful of finishing off his two-year stay in Ghana with victory.

And before he signs off, Le Roy says the team has enough potential and believes a lot can be achieved with this team.

“It’s never an ending story to work with a football team. It’s always to work with them; they have to work with you and with the staff. Even if you stay ten years with a team, you can always try to find some part of the team to improve and the plan is to be sure that we are taking the best players,” he told www.ghanafa.org.

Despite going into his final game, Le Roy believes other players can still make it into the local team.

“To be honest, we’ve not seen all the players. I am sure that somewhere in the first division, one goalkeeper, two strikers and one midfielder player (can be found). But we don’t know. We can always find that superb player and that talent is always available in Africa. I think maybe in a year, this team would change a lot. Now a lot of players want to play in this team and it’s a fantastic adventure for them.”

A win for Ghana would see the Black Stars qualify for the ultimate round of the qualifying series.
