Kotoko’s goals were scored by Dauda Mohammed, Amed Toure and Obed Owusu whileKweku Asuandzie Baffoe scored the only consolation goal for Wa All Stars.

Following their impressive win over their arch-rivals, Hearts of Oak over the weekend, Coach David Duncan’s boys were looking very confident going into this game and made their intentions clear early in the first half when striker Dauda Mohammed scored his 5th goal of the season.

Dauda was however immediately stretched off with an injury and was replaced by Amed Toure.

And after going into the first half with a one goal lead, Wa All Stars equalized just a minute into the second half against the run of play through Kweku Ansuadzie Baffoe.

However the reigning Champions were to have the last laugh as Amed Toure and Obed Owusu struck later on in the half to give the Porcupine Warriors a resounding 3-1 victory.

This result means Kotoko will move further up the league table with just two points away from the top four.

Meanwhile, Kpando Hearts of Lions thrashed bottom placed B.A United by 5-0 in their week 26 encounter played at Kpando Stadium.

Goals from Prince Acquah, Osman Muntaka, Osman Sackey Isaac Quansah and an own goal from B.A United’s Gideon Awuni gave Yussif Abubakar's side all the three points.
