Richard Kingson is delighted with the commitment shown by Blackpool as the Premiership's newcomers continue to achieve beyond expectation.

Blackpool had not played since 11th December following a number of postponements due to the bad weather but they showed much resolve to defeat Sunderland 2-0 on Tuesday.

And such is the display put in by the Tangerines, who are now placed 8th on the table that has left the Ghanaian shot stopper pleased and hoping to see the team sustain their form.

“Actually the team is working hard. At the beginning people thought Blackpool won’t do well. Now Blackpool is playing really well and I hope many more such performances will continue to come to make the fans happy,” Kingson said.
