King Faisal fined for lateness and misconduct by o

King Faisal have been fined GH¢1,250.00 for reporting late for a Premier League and slapped with a cost of GH¢6,000.00 for misconduct by officials.

The Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association have also cautioned Alhaji Karim Grunzah to refrain from acts that brings the Game of Football into disrepute.

King Faisal reported 11 minutes late violation of Article 23(1)(a) of the GFA Regulations for their league game against Bechem United at the Bechem Park on 5th February, 2014, leading to the fine of GH¢1,250.00.

In their game with Inter Allies at the Tema Stadium on 26th February, 2014, Chairman of the Club, Grunzah and head coach Dorian Marin were found guilty in separate incidents during and after the league game.

Dorian was handed a fine of GH¢1,000.00 while the conduct of Grunzah and other officials attracted a GH¢ 5,000.00 fine in accordance to Article 53 (1)(b) of the Disciplinary Code of the GFA.

Dorian, who was sent off for displaying a very bad temperament with occasional gestures, in a fit of anger, deliberately raised one of the plastic chairs meant for the Technical Bench and smashed it to the ground, thereby damaging it completely.

The Chairman, Grunzah and some officials of the team, after the final whistle followed the Match Officials to their dressing room and hurled insults and curses at them. Though they were sacked by the Police on duty, they later returned to cast insinuations and issuing various threat to the Match Officials.
