There is currently a positive vibe surrounding Legon Cities due to their recent surge in form. The Royals, for the first time this season, defied odds to record their first back-to-back victories against WAFA and AshantiGold SC in Accra.

The black and reds have won two of their last three games making a significant improvement in the League standings jumping from 18th to 16th. Legon Cities pip WAFA 1-0 courtesy a second half strike from defender Joseph Adjei from the spot.

They lost 2-1 to two-time champions Aduana Stars before thrashing AshantiGold SC trashed 5-2 at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Inter Allies on the other hand have been in poor form and are currently bottom of the league table. Both teams will square off in a Ghana Premier League match day 11 tie at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The Royals have won two games after ten matches and sit 16th in the League table with nine points. Cities coach Bashir Hayford will hope that the likes of Baba Mahama, Jonah Attuquaye, Michael Ampadu, Raphael Ocloo and David Cudjoe come to the party like they did in their last home game against the Miners.

Their last game ended in a disappointing 2-1 defeat to Medeama SC at the Akoon park at Tarkwa. The Eleven is to One side will need to be at their very best to snatch all three points against Legon Cities who have improved tremendously in recent outings.

The last meeting between the two sides ended 1-1. Both teams will go into this encounter highly motivated in search of a third win of the season. Legon Cities will still be without marquee signing Asamoah Gyan.
